In addition, exposure to the sun, pollution and smoking increase the production of free radicals and accentuate the deterioration of visual capacities. For VISIONPLUS , we have selected the most effective supplements for the eye functions by choosing only a natural origin. First of all, two major antioxidants: the only carotenoids present in the retina and lens: LUTEIN and ZEAXANTHINE (marigold extract). Studies have shown that a contribution of these two antioxidants would decrease the risk of macular degeneration and would have a protective effect against cataract. They act by filtering blue light and by capturing free radicals (singlet oxygen and others).
VISIONPLUS contains per capsule, 6 mg of Lutein and 3 mg of Zeaxanthin. Their action is potentiated by the presence of 100 mg ofANTHOCYANOSIDES (bilberry extract).
These bioflavonoïdes would improve the night visual acuity, the local microcirculation and the diurnal vision.
The BETACAROTENE (4,8 mg) (extracted from algae) is a precursor of the vitamin A. This one protects the retina by its antioxydant action and facilitates the synthesis of the pigments necessary to the retina to collect the light.

VITAMIN C (60 mg) (acerola extract) is a powerful antioxidant that also potentiates vitamins A and E.

VITAMIN E (soybean oil extract) is available in its three natural forms: ALPHA TOCOPHEROL (5.8 mg), DELTA TOCOPHEROL (5.8 mg) and GAMMA TOCOPHEROL (15.9 mg)
