Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. The use of this food supplement should not replace a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. Keep out of reach of children. Keep in a cool, dry place and away from light
It is recommended to pregnant and breast-feeding women to consult a health professional before any supplementation.
"Zinc, although toxic when ingested in excess, is therefore beneficial to the immune system, particularly because it is used by macrophages to intoxicate microbes.
Equivalent mechanisms could exist for other heavy metals such as copper. These results have very concrete clinical implications
In particular, they raise the question of nutritional supplementation in the treatment of patients (e.g. with zinc)
They could also lead to new antibiotics that would block the action of microbial metal pumps or to new attenuated vaccine strains that are already being tested as vaccine candidates

Property
Zinc is a trace element involved in many enzymatic reactions and in acid-base metabolism, that of proteins, carbohydrates and lipids, macronutrients, fatty acids and vitamin A.
It is a necessary element for human health. A zinc deficiency causes a loss of appetite, a decrease in taste and smell and a slowing down of wound healing.
Zinc acts on cognitive function, fertility, protein synthesis, bone and skin formation, vision and the immune system. It plays a role in the protection of cells against oxidative stress and in the process of cell division.
A new natural defense mechanism against infections has recently been identified by researchers from CNRS/INSERM in Marseille, Toulouse and the Pasteur Institute, in collaboration with an international team of researchers
One of the known strategies of our immune system to get rid of microbes is to deprive them of essential nutrients like heavy metals.
These researchers have demonstrated for the first time that immune cells are able to mobilize reserves of heavy metals, in particular zinc, to intoxicate microbes, and that to defend themselves from this zinc intoxication, bacteria express proteins on their surface that have the function of pumping out the heavy metal in order to eliminate it as quickly as possible. The results of this work are particularly encouraging and open the way to new therapeutic avenues
Could, for example, zinc or another heavy metal be added to the diet of patients to help the immune system fight bacterial infections?
Or could we see the development of new antibiotics aimed at inhibiting the action of heavy metal pumps?
Hypromellose (short for hydroxypropyl methylcellulose or HPMC) is an excipient used in the composition of capsules
Magnesium stearate: an anti-caking agent that lubricates the ingredients in a capsule and increases the consistency of the composition.
